Patricia Wright, a key conservationist in Madagascar, kindly invited me and my family to spend a month at her research station, Centre ValBio in Ranomafana. There, I saw many species of lemurs. One Greater bamboo lemur came especially close, letting me observe its graceful posture on the very bamboo it feeds on exclusively.
